Kia ora, néih hóu and håfa adai! Hi there! I am a communications strategist, facilitator, digital storyteller, and feminist researcher with professional expertise across the arts, non-profit, and education sectors in Guåhan and Aotearoa.

I am completing a PhD in Communication Studies at Auckland University of Technology. My research uses a Feminist Participatory Action Research framework to explore how art-making and digital platforms can advance storytelling, resistance, and community-building for Asian migrant women. I have taught undergraduate communication and media courses at the University of Guam, and presented my research and pedagogical work at Harvard University, the University of Otago, the University of Auckland, and Victoria University of Wellington.

In 2017, I founded Migrant Zine Collective, a platform that amplifies the voices of migrants of colour through self-publishing, community arts, and activism. Through the collective, I have co-published zines such as Generation Migrant, Anti-Racist Soup, and Memories of Mercury Plaza, and facilitated creative workshops, pop-up libraries, and digital collaborations across Aotearoa, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Australia, Guåhan, Canada, and the U.S.

I currently work in the non-profit sector as a Communication Specialist for Humanities Guåhan, which organises and supports a broad spectrum of public humanities programs with Indigenous CHamoru and Micronesian communities in Guam and the broader Pacific. My work includes campaigning, strategic communications, web development, public relations, media creation, and research and digital archival.

Throughout my career, I have worked as a journalist, writer, editor, and graphic designer. My work appears in publications including Womenclan Journal, The Pantograph Punch, The Spinoff, Hainamana, Starling, and Ensemble.

I'm always open to new collaborations. Whether you're interested in a workshop, creative project, or a good conversation, let’s connect.
